Review: Hans Zimmer and John Williams film music tribute
On December 29, the Royal Concert Hall staged a dynamic music concert of film compositions by Hans Zimmer and John Williams.
The London Concert Orchestra led by conductor Anthony Inglis performed many of their film repertoire. John Williams classical-styled film works included Jaws, Star Wars and E.T.
At more diverse music score compositions the London Concert Orchestra performed gelled with Hans Zimmer electronic music instrument arrangements making atmospheric captivating listening.
Film music pieces, The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar and Batman Begins categorise in this musical form. These were just six of 15-film masterpieces performed. Every seat at the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham was sold. Huge applauses and cheers resounded after every film theme played.
