Renowned pianist plays with The Hallé

Acclaimed British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor joins The Hallé orchestra for a performance in Nottingham.

Benjamin will be the soloist for Shostakovich’s 2nd Piano Concerto, which promises to the highlight of the concert at the Royal Concert Hall on Tuesday, June 2.

The programme will include Tchaikovsky’s Fantasy Overture: Romeo and Juliet, Janáček (arr. Mackerras) Suite from The Cunning Little Vixen and Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, the latter featuring actors from The Manchester School of Theatre.
