Referrals open for King’s Trust Team Programme in Mansfield

Referrals are open for the January 2026 cohort of the King’s Trust Team programme in Mansfield, delivered by The Inspire and Achieve Foundation.
This free, nationally recognised 12-week programme supports unemployed young people aged 16–25 to build confidence, develop practical skills, and take positive steps towards education, employment, or training.
Participants will take part in a range of hands-on activities, including a residential trip, community project, and work experience placement. Alongside this, young people receive practical support with goal-setting and interview preparation, as well as gaining a qualification to add to their CV.
This programme is open to young people from across the Mansfield area who may be unsure about what they want to do next. No prior experience or qualifications are required; you just need a willingness to get involved and try something new! What's more, travel expenses to The Hub on Yorke Street can be reimbursed and benefits payments are not affected.

“We’re excited to launch our next Team cohort here in Mansfield” said Jaye Crew, Programme Manager. “Every new group brings together a brilliant mix of young people who just need the right support and encouragement. This programme can be life-changing for participants as it gives them the experiences, tools and most importantly, belief in what they can achieve.”
Referrals can be made directly by young people, as well as by parents, carers, schools, colleges, and support services. A taster session will be taking place this Wednesday between 1-3pm at 159 Yorke Street (NG19 9NJ) for those interested in getting involved. The full 12-week programme will then begin on January 26.
