He will be performing Harold In Italy, Berlioz’s colourful four-movement work for viola and orchestra, inspired by the work of Lord Byron.

Berlioz’s work features plenty of highly-charged, romantic, colourful music, as can the other piece in the programe - Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony.

From its attention-grabbing opening brass fanfare to its exhilarating finale, this is a much-loved work that will surely be popular with the RCH audience.

Tickets details for the concert are available on 0115 9895555 or by going to www.trch.co.uk
