Pye Hill singers are in action

The Pye Hill and District Male Voice Choir are to appear in concert at Somercotes Salvation Army Corps, Sleetmoor Lane, Somercotes, on Saturday, June 6, at 7.30pm.

The concert will include pieces such as Love Changes Everything, You Raise Me Up, You’ll Never Walk Alone,

The second half of the concert includes An American Trilogy, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, If You Were the Only Girl in the World and Softly as I Leave You.

The concert programme offers opportunity for audience participation in a number of songs selected to commemorate the World War One period. There are also songs chosen relating to coal mining which is an important part of the areas heritage.
