Mary Berry demonstrates her favourite recipes at Chatsworth Country Fair

Famous chefs will demonstrate their favourite dishes at Chatsworth Country Fair this weekend.

Great British Bake Off star and prolific cookery book author Mary Berry and BBC food series presenter John Torode are the big names at the three-day extravaganza.

Making her third visit to the annual fair, Mary Berry will show visitors how to make Summer Ring Pavlova, Garlic Mushrooms Penne Gratin and Gavaldalax in her demonstrations at 11am and 3pm on Saturday, September 5.

The recipes are taken from her latest book Mary Berry’s Absolute Favourites which she will be signing after her cookery demonstrations.

John Torode is visiting the fair for the first time to share recipes from his new book My Kind of Food which is due out on September 10.

The presenter of TV’s John Torode’s Australia and Junior Masterchef will be demonstrating dishes on Sunday, September 6, at 11am , 1.30pm and 4.30pm.

Youngsters will be able to meet and chat to CBeebies I Can Cook presenter Katy Ashworth who will be at the fair tomorrow (Friday) to entertain with fun-filled activities and silly games at 11am, 1pm and 3.30pm.

The fair contains plenty of ingredients to make it a spectacular day out for all the family.

Watch the Ukrainian Cossack Stunt Team, the Jump4Heroes Extreme Human Flight Team and The Mounted Games Association of Great Britain.

A new aerobatic display team, The Global Stars, featuring aerobatic champions past and present, will performon Friday and Saturday. Their display above the adjacent terrain of hillsides and moors will feature precision formation aerobatics, head-to-head opposition crosses and solo aerobatics.

The Red Arrows display team will provide a stunning finale to the fair on Sunday.
