Frankly Sinatra tribute show heads for Mansfield Palace Theatre

One of the most influential singers of the 20th century, Sinatra had a popularity that has rarely been matched since.

In what would have been his centenary year, Mansfield Palace Theatre play tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes himself with an evening of songs performed by Stephen Triffitt, supported by the fantastic sound of big band swing.

Stephen Triffitt has been dubbed the world’s number one Frank Sinatra tribute act and this show will pay homage to the late, great icon.

He brings all the swing and swagger of Frank in concert, with velvet vocals to recreate all the timeless hits: Fly Me to the Moon; Mack the Knife; New York, New York; My Way; That’s Life; Under My Skin; Lady is a Tramp and Luck.

Stephen won worldwide acclaim as the master of his craft, starring as Frank for three seasons at Las Vegas’ legendary Sands Casino.

He also created the role of Ol’ Blue Eyes in the original West End production of The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas which then went on to tour America, Canada and Europe.

Such is Stephen’s reputation that he has sold out the London Palladium (twice) with this solo spectacular. The resemblance is described as “unsettlingly perfect” by the London Evening Standard. From sculpted hair and twinkling blue eyes, all the way down to his shiny black patent leather shoes, Stephen truly is Sinatra. “He really does sound exactly like Frank Sinatra” says The Guardian’s review of the show.

He recorded eight songs for the TV series The Royle Family and sung with stars Jools Holland, Mick Jagger and Brian May at Bob Geldof’s 50th birthday party.

Stephen not only walks the walk, he talks the talk too! He promises to “delight the Palace audience with all of Frank’s impeccably laid back charm.”
