Festival is on the right track

Colleen Green and The Darling Buds are among the latest artists added to this year’s Indietracks line-up.

Evans the Death, Steven James Adams (of Broken Family Band), Emma Kupa (formerly of Standard Fare), Ralegh Long, Pete Astor, Chorusgirl, Michaelmas, Feature, Jen Schande and Francesca’s Word Salad will join them on the bill at the annual festival, which will be again take place at the Midland Railway, based at Butterley near Ripley.

How Does It Feel To Be Loved? and Unpop will be DJing at the festival, and they join an Indietracks 2015 bill that already includes The Go! Team, Cinerama, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, The Wave Pictures, Martha, Laetitia Sadier, Tigercats, Euros Childs and The School.

Nearly 50 bands have been confirmed for the festival so far and there are just a handful of days left to pick up cheaper early bird Indietracks tickets. Adult weekend tickets are £7 cheaper if you pick them up before 5pm on Sunday, May 3. They are available now from http://www.indietracks.co.uk/tickets

A spokesperson for the festival added: “We’re looking for volunteers to act as stewards and stage assistants during the Indietracks festival weekend. It’s a great way to gain experience of working at a charity-fundraising music festival, it can be really fun and it means you can get in for free!”
