Festival of Remembrance at Palace

This year’s festival will be particularly nostalgic as it commemorates the start of the First World War.

It will feature the usual mix of entertainment, nostalgia and remembrance.

Contributors will include Blidworth Welfare Band, Mansfield Male Voice Choir, Cadets’ Bugle Band and The Singers.

The festival will conclude with a short service of remembrance led by local clergy.

There will also be a singalong which will include items dating from the First World War.
