Event celebrates NHS
Tuesday, May 5, will see the Belper SOS NHS group putting on an event in the town.
The event is called Making a Song and Dance about Our NHS and runs from 7pm-10pm at the Strutts Centre.
A group spokesman said: “We will celebrate Our Treasure: The NHS. We open with the wonderful Belper Pop Up Choir and proceed to the lively danceable music of Boris and the Space Cadets. There’s a bar, snacks and short videos. Special guests include Nye Bevan and Michael Sheen.”
Tickets are £5/£4 concessions, or they are £1 only for NHS staff (past or present).
