Dark Knight rises at Wollaton

Summer Nights continues its fifth year of outdoor film screenings this weekend.

The series of screenings has reached Wollaton Hall.

It is the setting for three screenings.

Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, Steve Coogan’s comic creation, is working at North Norfolk Digital radio station when they are taken over by a giant media corporation.

One disgruntled employee (Colm Meaney) takes the station hostage and only Alan and his chatting skills can save the day!

The Dark Knight Rises is director Christopher Nolan’s return to Gotham City, shot in the grounds of Wollaton Hall and back for a third year.

Dirty Dancing (12A) also screens on Friday, Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa (15) screens on Saturday and The Dark Knight Rises (12A) screens on Sunday.

Doors will be open from 7pm for all three of the screenings.
