Dan’s the man for Arena pantomime

Derby LIVE and Paul Holman Associates have announced that former TOWIE star Dan Osborne will be joining the cast of the all-star traditional family pantomime, Aladdin, at the new Derby Arena this Christmas.

Dan Osborne will star in the major role of Genie, using his phenomenal cosmic powers to grant wishes and change the world.

He will be joined on stage by an all-star cast that includes Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton and 5ive’s Ritchie Neville.

Dan Osborne said: “I am thrilled to back on the stage again!

“I’ve heard great things about Derby audiences and can’t wait to bring fun and energy to the role this Christmas.”

Paul Holman, producer of the pantomime, said: “This show will certainly appeal to all age groups.

“The imaginative casting takes pantomime to a new level bringing a vibrant, modern feel to Derby’s traditional production.”

Dan Osborne, a former professional model, turned reality TV star joined the hit ITV show The Only Way is Essex in May 2013 for series eight of the show.

Due to his boyish good looks, muscular physique and personal charm, Dan quickly established himself a firm favourite.

His rapid rise to fame has led to Dan has gracing the cover of Attitude and OK! magazines, as well spreads for many top-selling titles like, Now, Reveal and Star Magazine.

In January 2014, Dan starred in the Saturday night ITV1 show Splash! with Tom Daley.

Dan’s diving skills impressed the judges and ensured he made it to the final of the show and gained an even bigger army of fans.

Dan made his first foray into pantomime last December, featuring as Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk in Liverpool.

Dan is also currently working on several projects including the creation of a membership fitness website and launching his own range of T-shirts and gym clothes.

Audiences can see Dan Osborne in Aladdin at Derby Arena, alongside Natasha Hamilton, Ritchie Neville, popular comedian Mike ‘Squeaky’ McClean, Richard David-Caine and Joseph Elliott (from CBeebies’ hit show Swashbuckle) from Monday, December 7, until Sunday, January 3, with tickets priced from £11.25 and concessions, group, school and family tickets are available.
