The exhilarating an energetic classes will cover a range of fifties’ dance styles.

Beginners will join the class at 7.30pm to 8.15pm and are then welcome to continue with the Improvers class between 8.15pm and 9pm, as improvers are welcome to come early and enjoy revising the basics as a warm-up to the next class.

Heather, who is well known on the Derbyshire Vintage scene, said: “I absolutely love the 1950s era from the music, dancing, cars, fashion and accessories through to all things connected with this era.

“This comes through with our classes and our love of rock n roll is certainly infectious so it is great to help people start on their dancing journey.

“Whatever people’s ability, we can get their dancing feet moving. We have a great library of tracks from the 50s and today’s artists that we use in the classes and cover everything from learning to stroll to dancing with two partners at the same time and all the tricks.”
