Countdown to Clumber festival

Clumber Park is preparing to host dozens of famous faces as the countdown to its annual three day music festival continues.

Now in its third year, the event presents three very different evenings of music that will cater to all tastes, set in the beautiful surroundings of the National Trust parkland.

On Friday 15th August, Status Quo are making their first appearance at Clumber Park.

Bands don’t get much bigger than the Quo - with total world-wide record sales exceeding 118 million and 64 British hit singles, more than any other band.

They will be supported by Toseland and Babajack for a performance to remember.

Gates open at 5.30pm and music begins at 6.30pm, running until 10pm.

Audience members will take a trip back in time on Saturday 16th August when the Flashback Festival takes place.

This is guaranteed to be a party event taking people back to the 80s and 90s with a line-up incorporating some of the greatest artists from that era.

Headliner Billy Ocean, will be joined by Kim Wilde, ABC, Jimmy Sommerville, Go West, Midge Ure, Katrina, and The Doctor (from Dr & The Medics).

Flashback is a picnic event to which people can bring their own food and drink, either sit back and relax, or dance the night away.

The music starts at 5pm, running until 11pm.

The final day of the festival, on Sunday 17th August, is Clumber’s very own Last Night of the Proms.
