Check out Alasdair in the Neville Studio
The Neville Studio at Nottingham Playhouse plays host to a gig by Scottish singer-songwriter Alasdair Roberts on Friday, August 28.
The gig gets under way at 8pm and features support from Nottingham’s Dearest plus the improvised electric guitar and violin duo Fains.
Alasdair has spent the last 20 years ploughing a highly idiosyncratic path through folk music.
His latest self-titled album sees him paring back his sound to focus on his lyrics, haunted voice and fingerstyle.
