Charity fundraising gig to celebrate the life of the late singer/guitarist Mark ‘Raggy’ James

Musicians will be honouring the memory of a lead guitarist in a concert which celebrates his life.

Mark Slack, who was known as Mark “Raggy” James on the music circuit, was lead guitarist and singer with early Whitesnake tribute band Box O Snakes and principal vocalist in Rainbow Rising.

The Ilkeston-based player died in March this year.

His former bandmates in Box O Snakes have organised a celebration of his life, which will take place at The Diamond, Sutton-in-Ashfield, on Saturday, June 6.

Stop Stop are among the guest who will perform.

Tickets £6.50. All proceeds go to charity.
