Cello soloist teams up with orchestra
The Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the second concert in the new Nottingham Classics season.
Their visit to the Royal Concert Hall will be on Tuesday, October 6, from 7.30pm.
Conducted by Michael Sanderling, they will be joined by soloist Sol Gabetta for a performance of Elgar’s Cello Concerto. Also in the concert are Brahms’s Academic Festival Overture and Beethoven’s ‘Eroica’ Symphony.
