Big Band era comes to Palace Theatre

The Nick Ross Orchestra brings the Big Band Sound of the 1940s and 50s to Mansfield’s Palace Threate on 12th April.

The spectacular concert celebrates Glenn Miller, the Rat Pack and the Big Band era and also features special guest Matthew Ford.

Matthew has built an enviable wealth of experience, performing with the Halle, Philharmonia, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony, BBC and RTE Concert Orchestras.

In 2012 he performed with John Barrowman and Lee Mead on Friday Night is Music Night in tribute to Irving Berlin and Gene Kelly.

The Nick Ross Orchestra uses arrangements exactly as recorded in the great swing era of the 40’s and 50s, coupled with outstanding instrumental and vocal performances. This special concert celebrating the inimitable Glenn Miller and other Big Band greats promise to be an unmissable evening of music and song.
