Austen classic at Kelham Hall

Kelham Hall and Country Park will host an outdoor theatrical performance of Jane Austen’s classical romantic novel, Sense and Sensibility on Sunday, 31st August.

Sense and Sensibility has long been a literary favourite and this special show, performed by the nationwide touring theatre, the Chapterhouse Theatre Company, centres on two sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood as they find their way through life and love. It promises to be a magical and touching evening with true love at its heart.

Kelham Hall and Country Park is a magnificent stately home set within 44 acres of gardens and parkland near the historical market town of Newark.

Sense and Sensibility starts at 6pm and the grounds are open for picnics ahead of the performance.
