August sessions at The Flowerpot

The latest in the series of Acoustic Wednesdays sessions at The Flowerpot in Derby will feature a set by Leavon Archer tonight (Wednesday).

The acoustic rock and blues session has free admission and is in the bar at the King Street-based venue from 8pm.

Then, on Saturday, August 1, the new month at the Flowerpot kicks off with a visit by Stereosonics to perform their blistering tribute to those Welsh rockers Stereophonics.

Stereosonics are a leading tribute to their musical idols and pay homage to all aspects and eras of the Stereophonics’ glittering career.

Doors open at 8pm and admission is free.

Then, on Wednesday, August 5, the next Acoustic Wednesdays session will feature rock and blues courtesy of Harriet.

Looking a little further ahead throughout the rest of August, there will be a performance at The Flowerpot by Free At Last , who are renowned for their musical tribute to both Free and Bad Company.

Admission to this gig is free.

August 12 is the date for an Acoustic Wednesdays gig at the venue by Double Cross, a duo featuring a set packed with quality acoustic rock and blues.

Then, on Saturday, August 15, Rust For Glory will be paying musical homage to Neil Young. On Wednesday, August 19, there’s an Acoustic Wednesdays session from Dave Onions.
