All Saints Centre, Huthwaite are keeping Christmas in the community

The Community Christmas dinner will be held at the All Saints Centre, Huthwaite; and anyone, for who Christmas Dinner is difficult, is welcome.

Perhaps people are alone on Christmas Day, or missing someone special this year; or affording Christmas dinner is difficult, maybe the actual cooking Christmas dinner isn’t possible.

Whatever the reason, if Christmas dinner is difficult, the team are waiting to hear from you. And don’t worry if you’re not from Huthwaite, that doesn’t matter, everyone is welcome.

On offer is a 3-course meal, completely free of charge, starting at 12pm, until 3pm (ish).

“The event is truly a diverse inclusive event, that everyone feels they are part of; it’s a family” says April, Community Christmas Co-ordinator.

"The team say that it’s the community spirit behind the festive event that makes it so special. Without the community showing how much they care, the event couldn’t happen” says Peter, also part of the team,.

“The donations of food and gifts means everyone gets to feel special”.

The team are looking for donations to contribute towards the Christmas Dinner event, so April would love to hear from you, if you think you can help.

“In previous years, we’ve had generous donations of Christmas food, small gifts for the guests, even help on Christmas Eve to get things ready, so we’d love to hear from you if you can help” says April.
