Man charged with five offences after crashing into Mansfield takeaway

Jamie Wilson of Alcock Avenue in Mansfield was arrested on Tuesday, March 13 after his car collided into the Canton Takeaway shop in Ravensdale Road following a short police pursuit from Eakring Road at 12.40pm. No one was injured in the incident.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “The 31-year-old was charged with; dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and fraudulent use of trade plates.”
He’s been bailed to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 4 April 2018.
A 27-year-old woman also arrested has been released without charge.
