This issue with 'Boy Racers' is a fantastic example of how ALL Police Forces, under Government instruction and advice, are letting our roads get worse by relying on 'stealth' Policing and road safety tactics that simply don't work. I'm a responsible adult and a passionate biker who believes there is a serious lack of common sense in this country and it starts with the Government. This situation requires something we don't have anymore on our roads and that's a Police Presence that works. Yes the guys shouldn't have recorded their antics and from the footage it was bad driving and dangerous to passing, innocent motorists too. There is far too much time and money wasted punishing the vast majority of us motorists than there is used on preventing the real criminals. The Police need to drop the "speed camera is best" stance and get back in their cars. A speed camera costs hundreds of thousands to buy and maintain and you do NOT get a justified reason for why you were deemed to have been flashed other than speeding and that could be a very small margain over the posted limit. The camera does NOT judge you a good or bad driver just a criminal. The same goes for the You Tube video's of these guys racing. You can let the footage influence your decisions but at the end of the day the Police have try harder to gain public respect and make solid judgements on what is dangerous driving as opposed to simply breaking a limit and so on. I believe the emphasis should be put back onto education maybe even driving schools for offenders rather than hard punishment. Obviously causing harm or death are truly serious offences. If your driving like an idiot, and I refuse to accept slight breaches of the limits, it should be spotted and dealt with accordingly. Thousands of drivers/riders are punished a day for minor offences yet this sort of radical behaviour is overlooked. We need things to be in perspective again and revert back to "innocent until proven guilty" methods instead of ALL d
