The Great Food and Drink Festival will be heading to Newstead Abbey over the August Bank Holiday - and we have three family tickets to be won in our latest super competition.

The event, which had over 10,000 people attend at Nottingham Castle in May, is now going to be at another one of Nottinghamshire’s most historical and picturesque landmarks.

Celebrity chef Marcus Bean has joined an already star-studded line-up for The Great Food and Drink Festival this August. Marcus, who regularly works on ITV’s This Morning and has also appeared on Good Food’s Market Kitchen, Channel 4′s What’s Cooking and Drop Down Menu, went on to beat top chef, Martin Blunts in the final of Iron Chef UK.

Over the bank holiday weekend of August 29-31, you’ll be able to find Marcus Bean doing three cooking demonstrations along with other celebrity and local chefs.

The Great British Bake-off’s Chetna Makan will also be at the show, alongside former Coronation Street actor turned cheesemaker Sean Wilson and another ITV regular on Lorraine, Dean Edwards.

There will be a vast variety of food, drink, crafts and entertainment for all ages to enjoy. With a range of live music thrown each day, performed by fantastic local talent, there is something for everyone. With a multitude of rides, soft play area, Punch and Judy shows and a whole lot more, the little ones will have a fantastic day out, not to mention that under tens go free too.

With over a hundred stalls set to be at Newstead Abbey, you will not be disappointed in the variation, diversity and tastes that you’ll be able to acquire. So if you’d like to know more about the festival go to www.greatfoodanddrinkfestivals.co.uk where you’ll be able to see more.
