OPERA fans are invited to a new production of Franz Lehár’s 1905 work The Merry Widow presented by Opera North at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal - and we have a pair of tickets to give away to one lucky winner.
The opera tells the tale of a wealthy young widow Hanna Glawari who is looking for a husband who will love her rather than her fortune.
At first, the attractive Count Danilo appears to be the perfect match - but he once broke her heart and Hanna will have to learn to love and trust him again if they are to have a successful relationship.
The Merry Widow is showing at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal on 23rd and 25th February. Tickets are priced between £15 and £55. For details contact to Box Office on (0115) 9895555 or visit www.royalcentre-nottingham.co.uk.
