FANS of the annual pantomime at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal will get the chance to see some of the veteran cast members in a new production of Mike Harding’s comedy Fur Coat and No Knickers.
The play, which runs from 27th June until 2nd July, will star Andrew Ryan who has entertained audiences for the past two years as the pantomime dame and fellow panto veteran Paul Gabriel.
There will also be a number of familiar faces from the Classic Thriller Season company including Adrian Lloyd-James, Samantha Sanns, Rebecca Tanwen, John Hester, Karen Henson and Sarah Wynne Kordas. The cast also includes Christopher Sheridan, Rob Laughlin, Dominic Vulliamy, Ben de Halpert, Alison Willcox and James Campbell.
Fur Coat and No Knickers is the story of two families from very different sides of the tracks who are brought together as they gather for the wedding of Deirdre Ollerenshaw and Mark Greenhalgh who is the son of a wealthy businessman and councillor.
Other colourful characters include Pete the poet and anarchist and a drunken priest.
