Theatre Royal Nottingham: Slava’s Snowshow opens as part of national tour

YOUNGSTERS and their families are invited to a new production at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal which is on from 20th until 24th September.

Slava’s Snowshow will return to the Theatre Royal for the first time in three years as part of an 11 week tour of the UK.

A combination of theatrical clowning and stunning spectacle, the show is performed by a highly-renowned company of clowns led by Slava Polunin. The show creates a dream-like world where one extraordinary image melts into another culminating in a stunning finale leaving the audience knee-deep in snow.

Influenced by artists such as Chaplin, Marcel Marceau and Engibarov, Slava Polunin and his company has taken clowning out of the world of circus, and brought it to theatre lovers, fellow practitioners and families worldwide.
