With the Easter holidays fast approaching, here’s what the town’s theatre has to offer.

First up during the school Easter holidays is Pop Factor The Concert on Thursday, April 9, at 2.30pm!

Featuring children from local dance school Expressions Academy of Performing Arts, in this totally live and interactive show, the cast promise to take you partying on a non-stop, high energy ride that’ll leave you dancing and singing all day to the hits you know and love.

Calling all Directioners, Mixers and Katy Cats! Are you a Belieber, a Swiftie or one of our favourite Little Monsters? Even the mums (and dads!) will love singing along to this one!

Week two of the holidays sees the return of Blunderbus with the stage version of the story book, Hugless Douglas, on Wednesday, April 15, at 1pm.

An irresistible blend of music, puppetry and storytelling perfect for children aged 3 – 7 years.

Douglas is in search of the perfect hug but he just can’t seem to find the right one. After all, there are so many different hugs to choose from. But Douglas soon discovers that there’s only one hug that will do...

This happy show is full of laughter, sing along songs and plenty of opportunities to join in.

As the weather turns warmer, May brings us the popular Julia Donaldson story of Stick Man, by Scamp Theatre on Saturday, May 16.

Packed full of puppetry, songs, live music and funky moves, all children will know that Stick Man lives in the family tree with his Stick Lady Love and their stick children three.

Can Stick Man escape the playful dog or avoid the flames of the fire? Come along to Mansfield’s Palace Theatre to find out – guaranteed more fun than you can shake a stick at!
