Have your say

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Diamond, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield on Sunday, February 1, for a night full of laughter.

Headlining is the jaunty and engaging Danny Ward, winner of Amused Moose Laughter Award People’s Choice at last year’s Edinburgh Festival. Entertaining the crowds with his observations and amusingly sharp comments, his laid-back style and extraordinary structure of words are a breath of fresh air.

Supporting is Shazia Mirza, an international award-winning comedian and columnist for the Guardian Weekend magazine who has also guested on Have I Got News For You? From Birmingham, she was previously a science teacher with one of her pupils being the rapper Dizzee Rascal.

Completing the line-up will be writer, director, actor, voice artist and comedian Cokey Falkow, one of South Africa’s top comedians and the amiable Nick Clarke. Compere is Spiky Mike.

Tickets are £5 in advance. Doors open at 7.15pm. The show starts at 8pm. For information and bookings, see
