Breaking Point from Studio 86

THEATRE company Studio 86 will be presenting their latest production this week. Breaking Point, written by Toni Sutton and directed by Jack Burrows, will be performed at the Mansfield Community Performance Centre next to Brunts School in Mansfield ,tomorrow and Friday.

It tells the tale of Alison (played by Sarah Thorpe) who has a nasty habit of running away, much to the frustration of her husband Dave (Adrian Harper) and sister Caroline (Toni Sutton) who are constantly left to pick up the pieces.

This time she’s found sanctuary in truck driver John (Andy Dobb), who is about to learn a valuable lesson.

Meanwhile, Alison’s son Steven (Reece Lyle) is struggling to cope at university.

Breaking Point was developed as part of the On the Write Track, mentored by Kevin Fegan.
