TICKET sales for Mansfield Palace Theatre’s panto ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ are continuing to shoot up . . . oh yes they are!

Twenty two shows of the festive show are either sold out or close to selling out,.

Now theatre bosses are urging people to grab their tickets as soon as possible to watch the “wonderful live performance” of the childhood favourite story of a young lad who exchanges the family cow for a ‘magic bean’.

Jack and the Beanstalk starts its Christmas run on Saturday (preview show) until Sunday 8th January, with morning, afternoon and evening performances. Despite rapidly climbing ticket sales, there is still a chance to book some Saturday evening tickets one of the first two Saturdays in December.

Jack and the Beanstalk stars Colin Baker, a former ‘Dr Who’, as ‘Fleshcreep’; Chris Pizzey, better known as Mr Stephen from ‘The Basil Brush Show’ on TV, is ‘Simple Simon’, and Emma Nowell, from ‘Hi-5’, plays the role of ‘Jack’.

Tickets for the preview show on Saturday are priced just £9.50. From then onwards they are priced £12 adult / £11 concessions, with family tickets priced at £42. Call the Box Office on 01623 633133 or book online at www.mansfield.gov.uk/palacetheatre.
