New season of Palace acts

The Palace Theatre Newark has announced a new Summer season showcasing huge variety of world class talent from May to September.

From comedy to SKA, puppetry to ballet, there will be something for the whole family to enjoy.

Season highlights include: Suggs 1st May, Formby 21st May, Immortal Chi 28th May, Marty Wilde 12th June, Entertaining Mr Sloane 24th June, Jethro 2nd July, The Sooty Show 31st July, Beyond the Barricade 20th September and The Lindisfarne Story 25th September.

The theatre’s new brochure brochure also looks ahead to forthcoming autumn shows including Joan Armatrading 8th November and Moscow State Ballet’s Nutcracker 19th November.

Theatre Manager, Carys Coulton-Jones, said, “we are delighted to present another season of exceptional entertainment here at the Palace.

We have some great shows to look forward to for all tastes and preferences and we’re really confident that you’ll enjoy whatever you choose to come and see over this summer season”.

She added: “Following the great news at the start of the year that the Palace would be retained by Newark and Sherwood District Council moving forwards, we felt now was the perfect time to freshen up our logo and brochure. “We are realy thrilled with the results.”
