Paul Cox and The Charlie Fabert Band play Millers Blues Night at Kirkby

Nottinghamshire’s ‘House of The Blues’, Miller’s Snooker Club at Kirkby, present Paul Cox & The Charlie Fabert Band on Thursday, 13th September.

Vocalist Paul Cox (52) has been described as a cross between Chris Farlowe and Delbert McLinton and was influenced by singers such as Otis Redding, Al Green, Paul Rogers, Joe Cocker and Robert Plant.

He has cut over 14 albums, worked with stars such as Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Paul Rogers, Gary Brooker, Snowy White, Debbie Bonham and Bonnie Tyler... and played all the major world’s festivals including the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival.

Guitarist Charlie Fabert (24) has been described as the rising talent of blues in France.
