Billy, a poor miner, and Eileen, the pit owner’s daughter, are passionately in love.

Forced apart by the Great War will their love survive?

Bound together with beautifully original songs set in the folk/acoustic tradition, this moving story of love, loss and reconciliation is bought to life by an ensemble of talented actors and a 12-piece band.

Made in the Midlands, the songs are written by the acclaimed songwriter Phil Baggaley, most noted for his work with Derby folk group, The Open Road. The story was written by Southwell-based author Tim Harvey.

Beautifully designed and directed by Daniel Ellis, with songs and a script that will move you deeply,
