The Nottingham Comedy Festival is back for the eighth time, this year running between November 4-12.

Featuring over 100 shows in 23 venues across the city, the festival will have more variety than before. This year, there is more focus on other forms of comedy, aside for stand-up. Venues such as The Loft House, Ned Ludd and Malt Cross are all solely for alternative forms of comedy, suchas improv, sketch, character acts.

The ever expanding Nottingham comedy scene also has a much larger presence, with performances by local acts such as MissImp, Liam Webber, PariaTheatre, Andy Fowler, Jeanette Bird-Bradley, to name a few.

Festival regulars such as Patrick Monahan, Alfie Moore and the likes of Billy Connolly, Jerry Sadowitz, Paul Tonkinson, Tom Wrigglesworth, Lost Voice Guy, Ed Gamble and Kabaret Ani Mru-Mru are all taking to the stage this November. See www.nottinghamcomedyfestival.co.uk for more.
