Get on track for a great music weekend

Off the Tracks Festival has announced its line-up for this summer’s festival and unveiled an exciting and diverse range of acts for visitors to enjoy.

The festival, at Castle Donington on 2,3,4 September, features music ranging from renowned guitarist and vocalist Hugh Cornwell from The Stranglers to traditional African sounds from Zimbarambawe, and you could be in with winning one of three pairs of weekend camping passes with free parking in our latest fantastic competition.

Headliners at the festival include Simon Friend’s Seismic Survey, a side project from the Levellers’ frontman; Treacherous Orchestra, the Scottish folk/rock barnstormers; and psychedelic rockers Ozric Tentacles.

Neville Staple, of The Specials, The Rattlers, Panic Room and LilJim and Z Theory will also take to the stage during the three-day event at Donington Park Farmhouse.

Off The Tracks takes pride in its great food and drink at reasonable prices. As well as 70 real ales, ciders, perries and fantastic food, including venison reared on the site, there will be arts and crafts stalls, activities for children and excellent camping facilities and showers.

So fans of live music, real ales, beautiful countryside and great camping facilities need look no further than Off The Tracks for a wonderful festival experience to see out the summer.

There will be scores more musicians rocking stages in the Oak Room, Black Barn and

Threshing Barn there’ll be loads of choice for festival-goers. Belper’s Fleet Arts is returning to the Off The Tracks “ new introducing” stage for the second time after proving a massive hit with music-lovers last year.

It’s the festival’s 28th year and Off The Tracks proves that small is beautiful and can dish up top music and entertainment without being corporate.
