Bellowhead air new single, Roll Alabama, on tour
Folk stars Bellowhead are heading out on tour next month.
The group has recently been nominated for a third time for Best Group at the BBC Radio 2 Folk awards.
Their tour - which includes a date at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on April 23 - coincides with the launch of third single, Roll Alabama, from their upcoming new album. This traditional shanty is inspired by the true story of the sinking of a sloop-of war.
Kings of the South Seas have been named as the support act for Bellowhead’s tour.
