Local bands join forces with big names for Nottingham Punk Festival

LOCAL bands and national names will gather together over three days next month for the Nottingham Punk Festival, which aims to raise money for charities Punk 4 The Homeless and the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

Held over the Bank Holiday weekend, Friday 4th-Sunday 6th May, the festival will place at Nottingham venues, the Dog House, Carlton Hill, on the Friday (7pm-midnight) and Saturday (3pm-midnight), and the Old Angel in the Lace Market on the Sunday (2pm-midnight).

Admission is £10 a day or £25 for all three and bands featured over the weekend include Drongos For Europe, Dirtbox Disco, Septic Psychos, The Reverends, Wonk Unit, Certified, Senseless, Verbal Warning, A Multitude of Sins and Paul Carter.
