Nomadic residents of Creswell Crags during the Ice Age provide the focus of a new exhibition.

Nomadic residents of Creswell Crags during the Ice Age provide the focus of a new exhibition.

During a period of climate change more than 50,000 years ago, the caves at Creswell provided shelter to hunters in search of food.

The Life on the Edge exhibition at Sheffield’s Weston Park Museum looks at tools and weapons used to hunt woolly mammoths and shows our ancestors’ creative side in crafting jewellery and bone carving.

The exhibition runs until September 20.
