Enjoy a trip to the races, songs from a top group and children’s entertainment at the Chad Family Fun Day.
Southwell Racecourse will be buzzing with attractions for all ages on July 12.
Horse fans will be able to marvel at the racing while young visitors can have fun with Peppa Pig who will be making regular appearances throughout the afternoon all around the racecourse.
Britain’s Got Talent 2014 winners Collabro will perform after the day’s racing.
The group, who went straight to number one with their debut single “Stars”, were recently seen on our television screens performing during the VE Day celebrations in London and release their second album, Act Two, on June 1.
The day is in partnership with, and in aid of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, who celebrated their 21st anniversary this year. A percentage from ticket sales will go to the charity.
There will also be a special “Air Ambulance Package” available, containing admission, plus a goody bag full of Air Ambulance merchandise and a return admission ticket for the price of only £21.
Deputy CEO of Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, Sally Crawford says: “We’re over the moon to have such fantastic group to perform in this, our 21st year.
“This event in partnership with Southwell Racecourse is particularly great for our charity as Collabro member Thomas is a true local lad, from Grimsby!”
She continued: “This day is all about celebrating our 21st year and hope the event will attract people from both counties.
“They can bring picnics to enjoy the group’s take on a wide range of music, from classical to modern. We’re all very excited about it!”
