Mansfield District Council has announced the line up of local talent who will be appearing at this year’s Party in the Park on Saturday 6th August at Titchfield Park, alongside headline act Gareth Gates.
Local musicians were invited to apply to appear on the main stage for a 30 minute slot at the family friendly festival. Emma Sowter, Events and Promotions Co-ordinator at Mansfield District Council, said: “This is a real celebration of the Mansfield area so I’m really pleased that we’ve got such a great line up of local talent.
“The standard of entries this year was extremely high but unfortunately we were only able to offer nine slots so we’ve tried to pick a mixture of acts that will offer a bit of something for everyone.”
