Four pubs around Mansfield and Ashfield are staging their first cider festival.
The pubs will each be serving up to 12 different ciders during the festival, which runs between 21st and 31st July
The participating pubs are; The Court House in Mansfield Market Place, The Widow Frost in Leeming Street, The Stag & Pheasant in Clumber Street as well as The Picture House in Fox Street, Sutton.
The draught and bottled ciders have been sourced from a range of cider makers in England and Wales, and also include one produced in France.
The ciders include Festival Special Perry (Mr Whiteheads Cider), Thatchers Traditional (Thatchers), Cider Twist Raspberry (Westons), Black Dragon (Gwynt y Ddraig) and Farmhouse Draught (Sheppy’s). The French cider is Mont St Michel from Normandy.
All of the ciders will be available from £2.30 to £2.35 each.
The Court House manager, Jonathan Sellars, said: “Cider is proving increasingly popular with our customers and I’m sure they will enjoy the opportunity to enjoy ciders not usually available in the pub.”
Tasting notes on all of the ciders will be available in the pubs.
