More than 60 craft stalls will showcase a wide variety of work when Southwell Minster stages its 10th annual craft fair on 3rd May.
Clothes and textiles, slate and wood, wrought iron, buttons, beads and bags are just some of the delights to experience at the Bank Holiday Craft Fair, which starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm.
Among the exhibitors will be ‘Lily Mosaics,’. Lis Greensmith makes handmade mosaic pieces for the home, jewellery and fires her own tiles which she then smashes up and uses to decorate plant pots and mirrors.
Dawn Burbidge will be exhibiting a range of sterling silver Hallmarked jewellery, using traditional techniques such as piercing, repousse and chasing.
Dawn said: “This will be the third time I have taken part in Southwell Minster Craft Fair. It’s a wonderful event with a great atmosphere and spectacular surroundings, being in the nave of the Minster.”
