DOGS of all shapes and sizes and their owners are being invited to enjoy some canine capers at the Walkies in the Woods day at Sherwood Forest Pines on 28th September.
The event to encourage responsible dog walking in the forest features a host of activities including dog displays, dog beauty competitions and a sausage race.

Says Amy Chandler, community ranger: "This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a great day out with man's best friend.

  • Click on the green icon to watch a video of dog agility enthusiast Amanda Twine and her dogs Chaos and Mischief.

  • "Every dog has its day and if your pet can wag its tail with flair or has film star looks then recognition could be just around the corner!"

Activities run, between 10am-3pm, and a small fee will apply for some.
