KIRKBY'S Paralympic superstar Sam Hynd returned home on Monday night to a hero's welcome.
The teenage swimming sensation made the headlines after scooping a gold and a bronze medal at the Beijing games.

And despite the bad weather, flag-waving crowds flocked to Ashfield District Council's Urban Road offices to welcome him home.
