oh come on, the "headline act" (if you want to call him that) was a guy who scored no points in the eurovision song contest, lets face it, he can't be very good if he scored no points, and you thought the acts on before him were no good?? what did you expect??

anyone who saw "andy abrahams" as headliner should of known better than to expect an entertaining evening.
at least you didn't have to pay.

think the best artist was on friday at the town mill!! anyone who missed miles hunt missed out

Kirkie is King,

Moan, moan, moan, moan, moan . . . I had a great time and while all the bands were not to my liking either, it was still a good mix and a great day out for free. C'mon people, be fair. And Andy Abrahamss was great at the end. Stonefoxx and the Beetroot Kings were fab as well.

Johnson, what are you on? It was free and it was great. Where else do you get that sort of stuff for free. I had a good time. the music was great at times, allrite not so good at others, but the day was brill.

Everyones entitled to their opinion of course and musical tastes vary but I'm with Kirkie is King on this one. I was there from about 1pm until the end and wished it had gone on longer - a brilliant day and a brilliant night. As for the attendance, if you'd been there all day you may have thought like me that 15,000 was probably an understatement. The area round the stage and on the other side of the river was packed pretty much all day. I thought Andy Abrahams was miles better than Alexander O'Neal last year and my kids went crazy for the High School Musical act. Well done MDC, more of the same next year please

I think Andy Abraham was amazing, well worth waiting for! The people who said Andy got nil points obviously didn't watch the eurovision becuase he did actually recieve some points, and we all know its political voting anyway and doesnt reflect andy's singing ability! And yes some of the bands aren't to everyone's taste, but this is a great public event in Mansfield where they get a chance to showcase their talent in front of thousands, i say well done MDC for giving the young talent of Mansfield a chance to perform. I also thought the High School Musical was fantasic! I just hope Party in the park is back next year and bigger! (if that is possible)

Not as good as last years Shame the best they could do was Andy Failbraham from X-Fail and Euro Failvision

Did the Beetroot Kings get paid that 'Leon's' fee for playing extra? or was it like last years beatles tribute play extra and get paid nothing else

How do you know they got paid nothing else?? surley a top tribute act like them wouldn't play extra for nothing and im sure MDC would have paid them extra! and i heard Leon was free as he was promoting his new album! And the number of people who attended the event shows just how popular Andy was!
