DEMOLITION work at the Mansfield Brewery site moved a step closer to completion yesterday as heavy machinery moved in to tear down some of the outer buildings.
The Cuddy Group, who are the chosen contractors, took possession of the site on 21st April in a deal with Mansfield District Council worth £200,000.

They say the six-acre site will be demolished to ground level and work is expected to be completed ahead of schedule.

About time something was done with it.

However, it should never have been necessary if those asset strippers Wolverhampton & Dudley brewery had not been allowed to rob us of our Brewery

Lets hope the Ram in pub is next to be demolished, now the tramps/druggies have no where to stay since the brewery is gone. Me and my family have noticed the boarded up pub has been broken in to (Around the back -via a window) is this the new place for needles everywhere and fires now?
