Toys and games of the 19th Century
COMMUNITY learning officer Heather Whitworth steps back in time and remembers how children from Southwell Workhouse used to entertain themselves in the 19th Century.
The demonstration is part of a series of events the attraction is running this year, including a new Victorian toy workshop.

From April to October visitors can learn how to play with old-fashioned toys such as whipping tops, diabolos, hoops and wooden jacks.
