YOU don't have to be a child to enjoy 'Tom's Midnight Garden' on at Nottingham Playhouse until this Saturday (5th).
This haunting and magical tale -- the 50th anniversary production of the Carnegie Medal-winning novel by Philippa Pearce -- follows the adventures of schoolboy Tom as he sent away to stay with a relative while his brother recovers from measles.

Tom's temporary home provides the key to unlocking an enchanting, new world inhabited by an Edwardian family . . . where everything is not as it seems.

The sparse, simplistic set allowed the audience full rein to recreate Tom's new world, unhampered by the reality of the children's roles being played by adults.

Tom Henderson Begg as young Tom headed a strong supporting cast who excelled in delivering an evening of tension, laughter and wonderment, enjoyed by young and old alike.

For further details of tickets, and show times, please contact the Playhouse box office on Nottingham (0115) 941-9419.
