DESPITE being forced into three changes, Mansfield Town had more than enough in the tank to see off Blue Square South high-flyers Lewes 2-0 in the First Round of the FA Cup.
They may have only lost once all season, but Stags' reshuffled side saw the Rooks off with plenty to spare, Boulding brothers Michael and Rory giving them a half-time cushion and Ian Holmes adding a third near the end when the visitors were down to 10 men after Ian Simpemba's red card.
Mansfield manager Billy Dearden added: "Lewes gave us a game for the first 20 minutes.

"They played very well and deserve a lot of credit. They had a couple of half chances, but didn't stick them in.
"We got the first goal and then added another before half time after that we looked very comfortable.
- Boulding brothers make Stags history
"We had to make three changes again today and you wonder if you will have enough out on the field of play. But the young lads did well for us.
"I don't think Lee Bell should even have been out there after his midweek injury.
"But we are in the second round hat and that was always the main aim."
"I brought Rory in to keep the pace up front and it worked with both the brothers scoring. And with Ian Holmes scoring as well I was pleased to see all the strikers get one.
"It was brilliant for the brothers and I thought they played well together.
"Rory and Ian are young lads, but if they carry on like this then they have a future."
"The lads did me proud today," said Rooks boss Steven King.
"We caused Mansfield problems but the difference between the two levels was the finishing.
"You have to take your chances when you get them.
"For the first 20 minutes I thought we were the better side and gave it a real good go.
"But when we went down to 10 men there was no way back.
"I thought Stephen Robinson was outstanding in defence today. But if we were going to cause an upset I needed all my players to have 9 out of 10 games and only about four of them managed that today."
